How It Works
The KING Quick Release Roof Mount Kit provides you with the option of converting your roof-mounted satellite antenna into a portable antenna. The quick-release mechanism makes mounting and dismounting the antenna quick and easy. It’s easy to install using the included self-aligning feature to properly position the bracket. Once the quick release mount is permanently installed, using fasteners of your own choice, your KING satellite antenna snaps into place using just one hand and is secured with an easy to use spring-loaded latch. Safety features such as a keyed fit and redundant latching help ensure your KING satellite TV antenna is securely attached to the roof of the RV. The latch also provides a feature to padlock (lock not included) the antenna in place to deter theft. When ready to use as a portable antenna for your active lifestyle, un-latch the quick release mount and remove the KING satellite TV antenna from the roof of your RV or travel trailer.

Does the job!
I installed this quick-release mount on top of our RV to allow removing the Tailgater satellite dome for tripod use when needed. Very good design. Works great!

Don't leave home without one!
Brilliant! Can't be stolen, can't be damaged by trees or sunlight. Can be repositioned should you not have a clear satellite view. Love it!

Easy to mount on roof and secure.
This mounting kit worked perfect. I recommend watching the YouTube videos on how to install it properly so you'll never have any leaks. I installed it and took the RV on a 1,100 mile trip to Perry Georgia and had no issues at all.

King MB700 quick release roof mount kit
What I liked about the quick release roof mount was just that quick release. What I didn't care for was the fact that it is made almost entirely of plastic. Maybe I am old school but with it being mounted on the roof of a motor home in the elements and considering the price of it I think it should be made from metal.

Receiver disk tail gater mount
I mounted this on 1 inch decking and attached this to the ladder with clamps This was a way to install as temporary mount No holes in the roof

Easy to install and easy to use
I bought the Quick Release Roof Mount so that I could mount a King Tailgater on the roof of my motorhome. I found it easy to install, though I did mount it backwards as the prewiring in my motorhome were too short to mount facing the front. I cover the hole cut to find the prewiring with the King cover (separate purchase). I mounted the Quick Release with 3/4" stainless steel screws. I then covered the screws and any potential leak area with sealant. The installation took just over half an hour once I decided what materials to use. The Quick Mount itself is easy to use. I can remove the Tailgater in about a minute from my rooftop if I need it for other activities or don't have a clear satellite view when camping. I have about 3,000 miles on the motorhome since I installed it. Other than a few bugs on the latching mechanism facing forward, no problems.

A must have option
This option is awesome. Allows me to attach my King Satellite Antenna to the RV roof. If I want to remove it for storage or for a better view of the southern sky it's a simple latch to open and off it comes. Great option for King portable satellites. There is a good video on YouTube on just how it is installed and works. Just search for MB700 roof mount TV install.
