This allows me to get local stations on my King Quest portable satellite dish and setup was easy. Locks in quickly.

Additional help was needed
Works but required some learning. When I called they recommended an app to locate satellites and it helped tremendously. Wish the information I got from customer service was in the manual

King UC1000
Qualified review, because I am in the process of switching from DirecTV to Dish Network and need this box to get my King Quest antenna to work with a Dish Network Wally receiver. So far the UC1000, work with my DirecTV setup. I will switch to Dish Network in a week and I will report back if I have a problem with the UC1000.

Works great with King Quest antenna
This controller allows the Quest antenna to point at two satellites, which I needed to be able to receive all the channels we are signed up for on Direct TV. I also like that it will allow the Quest to work with Dish if we ever switch to that service, although I have not tried that function.

for using automatic satellite dishes after everything is hooked up you must press and release the scan button quickly and the satellite will start searching for the correct satellites,lights will remain lite as it finds the required satellites and then it will acquire signal and programing.
to figure out that i needed to do this it is in tailgator mode,also ik took my satellite cover off to see that it was moving.

How to use it.....
The product worked exceptionally well with the portable "King" unit I had on 100' cable attached to my receiver. I now have a dual system and only have to connect one cable or the other depending upon when my travel trailer is parked (either under the trees or out in the open). I have a "Rover" permanently installed upon my travel trailer, or a portable "King" unit if I'm park under trees and can't get a clear view of the southern skies. The instructions are just basic and you have to do some experimenting to use the Controller as it should be used. I do recommend you getting it as it is well worth the money.

Great for DirecTV.
Works like a champ. Finds the 101 and 110 satellites for my DirecTV, and allows me to watch local channels on my receiver. There is a slight pause while it changes from one sat to the other, but it is 3-5 seconds most times. Programming is simple, and quick. Operation is easy. Sometimes I forget to turn it off before I pull the antenna from it and it beeps - letting me know someone is trying to steal it.
