The Tailgater Pro allows you to take your DISH satellite TV service anywhere in the continental U.S. When used with a Wally receiver, the DISH Tailgater Pro can view eastern satellites for users in the Upper Northeast. You can use this product as a portable antenna or have it permanently mounted to the roof of your RV, trailer or truck. The Tailgater Pro works only when stationary.

How it works:
Portable and lightweight, DISH Tailgater Pro offers a fast, effortless and reliable connection to your favorite HD programming from DISH. Simply connect the Tailgater Pro premium satellite antenna to your compatible DISH HD Solo receiver (required, sold separately) to power the antenna and transmit the HD video and audio signal to your receiver. You’ll receive 50’ of coax cabling to ensure you can reach from your satellite to your TV, wherever you go.
Once powered on, simply follow the easy on-screen instructions. The DISH Tailgater Pro will automatically locate and lock on to the DISH satellites, so you can watch HDTV in just minutes. If you are watching TV from your vehicle for more than a few hours, periodically run your vehicle to maintain battery life. For extended use, a portable power generator, power pack, or alternative accessory battery is recommended.

King Tailgater Pro
The antenna works great, easy setup and take down, only issue I have found is the lack of a properly sized ladder mount. I would gladly pay a premium for a King approved, wind resistant secure ladder mount!

Second Receiver
I can't get the second receiver to work about 90 % of the time. I was told by a dish salesman that all I had to do was to connect the cable from the satellite to my RV and it would work for two TV's, so I bought the satellite. Once I received the unit i hooked it up and found out that I had to run one cable straight to each TV from the satellite. My unit is wired for satellite and cable. I have never had any trouble with cable hook ups, I just hooked up to the connection port and turn on the TV's (ALL FOUR) . What I had to do after several hours of back and forth with a Dish Rep, I finally spoke to a lady that explained that the second receiver was at the mercy of what ever channel the main TV was tuned into, It uses three different satellites. So what that means is that the second TV can only use the channels that the main tv is tuned to the satellite in use. I am well within the fifty foot from the satellite to the receiver on both TV's. The main TV works great but I can't get the second TV to come in about 90 % of the time. I I think there needs to be a little bit more signal power coming back from the satellite to the receiver. Very disappointed!!!!

Tailgater pro
This is our first summer of camping with our new traveltrailer. Our first trip was to an RV resort in northwest Wisconsin. No cable, No TV reception. We ordered the tailgater that week. At the time of this review were at a campground just outside of TR National Park,No TV service here, BUT the DISH tailgater reception is great ! So happy and pleased that we purchased it. Easy to set up, the picture comes in beautiful !!

Works on the main receiver. But the 2nd receiver will hardly work if you want to watch 2 tv at same time this is not for you
